Red Branch

PRESERVING THE NATIVE ECOLOGY

Located within the wooded surroundings of Cross Pines Ranch in Hainesville, Texas, this second-home site called for a design that respects both the architecture and the native ecology. From the start the team focused on protecting existing trees and ensuring the landscape felt of the place – not simply placed onto it. The result is a refined outdoor environment rooted in practicality, sustainability, and understated elegance.

The Linear Water Feature Anchor

At the heart of the Red Branch site lies a custom rectangular steel water feature that subtly draws the eye and anchors the terrace near the home. Positioned to be visible from the interior and exterior, the feature engages both sight and sound in a quiet lakeside moment. This balance of refined material and natural context reflects Landvisions’ commitment to landscapes that resonate over time.
