David Cordell, PLA

Tyler native, David Cordell, founded Landvisions with the goal of reconnecting people to the outdoors and, more importantly, to each other. This ambitious goal is reflected in his signature style which is heavily influenced by the surrounding native plant palette as well as his well known relational manner. 

With a strong entrepreneurial mindset, David received his Bachelors in Landscape Architecture and Masters in Construction Management from Colorado State University before returning to his hometown to start Landvisions in 2002. His thesis research on the benefits of the design-build project delivery model and realization of needs within the local community led him to develop a company with the resources and expertise to transform a space from concept to completion. 

David is a natural leader, assuming his role with confidence and empowering his team to create without limits. He thrives in being able to manage a host of variables and align goals to create the most innovative and effective solutions possible. Working to instill strong work ethics into the hearts and minds of others brings David immense joy.
