The design for Long Cove’s entry and gate was focused on a light footprint, and a visual extension of the natural surroundings.  A first impression, and true expression to the natural preservation surrounding the planning of this 1200 acre development on Cedar Creek lake.

Henderson Bay boasts a 40 acre protected park system providing Long Cove residents and guests with an abundance of outdoor charm and recreation amenities such as the Bayside infinity pool, canoe house, and a trail system network that meanders for miles.

The Lake Club at Long Cove was the first big idea in providing a strong community connection to the outdoors.  This central lakeside gathering place is the heart of Long Cove and it’s network of programmed outdoor activities.

The collaboration of designing and building Tree Top Towers was a testament to adventure in the outdoors, allowing campers to push their limits.  This interactive experience includes climbing walls, swings, ziplines, bungee jumping, and much more.

Crafted by our crews on site, the selection of a refined lueders slab stone path allows for a clean fit and compliment to the adjacent linear geometry of the pool terrace walls.

Board Formed Concrete Walls is the process of patterning concrete, leaving a wood grain texture on the exposed surface.  This method is extremely well-suited as a finish material  for modern design projects.

Vicki Yuan, associate at Lake Flato Architects, helped develop an “idea to emphasize generous outdoor living spaces paired with intimate interior spaces” in order to capitalize on the beautiful location and encourage spending time together outside.

The Aegean pool was realized as an extension of the linear architectural footprint, with  a strong connection to both indoor and outdoor living spaces.  Responding to the elevation change of the site, allowed for a 80’ perimeter overflow edge which magically carries your curiosity to the lake edge below.
