Overview
Located on the quiet shores of Lake Cherokee, this site was completely re-imagined as a permanent homesite for our client, with comfort as a top priority. The relaxed nature of lakeside living is evident throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces of the home, inviting friends and family with a paralleled opportunity of connection in the outdoors.
The initial site planning and design were challenged by the proximity of existing neighboring homes, accompanied by a narrow lot layout. Screening for privacy, along with exploring options that would provide a comfortable fit for the size of the home, functional vehicular and pedestrian circulation, and relaxed exterior outdoor living elements led the direction for constructing this lakeside gem.
Firepit Terrace
Situated along the primary connection between the home and lake, this destination provides a restful space to share an ultimate sunset experience by the fire.
Crafted by our crews on site, the selection of a refined lueders slab stone path allows for a clean fit and compliment to the adjacent linear geometry of the pool terrace walls.
